Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor from America. She is best known for her part as Skyler White on the AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other roles comprise Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint in Chicago theater before transitioning to television and film. In 1992, Anna was offered her first big role as Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. Anna continued appearing in films and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late 1990's. She was then selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. In 2008, she was cast in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. Also, she starred in the Deadwood film as well as Sully. Gunn is also a part of the stage in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. The year 2022 saw Gunn was a part of a four-part audio-play series called "Numbered days". Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate demise mirror the last few decades that were the life of Walter White.
